If a picture is worth a thousand words, what picture best represents what ACRM means to you?

Tweet your photo with the phrase, “What ACRM Means to Me” to #PIRR2015 for a chance to win a 12-month ACRM membership, including a subscription to the Archives of PM&R.

All photos submitted from 2 October until the conclusion of the 2015 ACRM Annual Conference at Noon EST on 30 October will be considered.

One lucky winner will be selected by the ACRM Board of Governors when they convene in Dallas on 31 October.

“What does ACRM mean to you” is a photo contest sponsored by ACRM | American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. Eligible participants must be 21 years of age. No other restrictions apply.

Participants must tweet a photo with the caption “What ACRM means to me” or the equivalent phrasing to #PIRR2015.

All photos tweeted to this hashtag from 12:00AM EST on 2 October 2015 until 12:00 noon EST on 30 October 2015 will be eligible for the prize—a one-year ACRM membership.

The prize will consist of one, standard 12-month membership to ACRM, which includes a subscription to the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. It will be granted to the individual who owns the Twitter account from which the selected photo was tweeted.

Scientific Posters Display imageIf the winner is already a member of ACRM, the prize will extend their effective membership for one full year at no charge. Alternatively, the winner may choose to gift their prize to a colleague, student, or mentee, provided the recipient is 21 years of age or older as of 31 October 2015.

The prize is not exchangeable or refundable for cash or credit of any kind. The winning picture will be selected by the ACRM Board of Governors and staff by a simple majority vote during the ACRM Board of Governors meeting on 30 and 31 October in Dallas.

2014 AttendeesThe voting members will be instructed to vote for the photo that best represents what the ACRM means to that submitting individual in terms of the goals and mission of ACRM, namely “Improving lives through interdisciplinary rehabilitation research.” The winner will be notified as soon as possible after selection.

2013 Early Career ReceptionACRM reserves the right to use the winning photo, and all other photos submitted to the contest, in other ACRM promotional formats,  e.g. other social media platforms, websites, print publications, and electronic marketing.
